Introducing a seamless way to share files

Securely and privately send video files — no matter what size — for your collaborators to download at the quality of their choosing.

Productivity depends on a lot of different things: time of day (heads up, we’re not morning people), amount of coffee available, and maybe most importantly, the ability to share video files wherever, and whenever, you need to.

For that reason, we’re excited to unveil a new and improved tool for transferring video files.

Creators can now send and share video files in a snap, no matter what size. That means whatever the task — delivering a finished video to a client, sharing some B-roll with an editor, or sending a rough cut to a partner — you can privately and securely get your video files where they need to go. This goes for sending large video files, too!

This new and improved file transfer tool is available to anyone with a Plus or above membership. On the Vimeo homepage, just look for the “send file” icon in the bottom corner of your video’s thumbnail. Here, you can share a private page with your collaborators, giving them a simple, straightforward way to download your video file, in whatever quality they want.

So, whether you’re shooting files across the globe or across the office, the file transfer tool is an easy, intuitive way to keep your team involved.

It’s one more way Vimeo is making improvements to streamline your workflow and offer the best end-to-end video tools.
